New friends.
Wenn ich nicht schon in Ridgebacks verliebt wäre – ich würde mich jetzt verlieben. Auch, wenn Lilly und Tiger nicht wirklich Ridgebacks sind, sondern nur ein wenig so aussehen: Dackelfalten auf der Stirn inklusive. Die beiden ca. fünf Monate alten Hunde wohnen vis-a-vis auf einer Baustelle, kaum 100 Meter entfernt von uns. Und sie verbringen die Tage in unserem Garten, im Spiel mit Kalu und Charak, Kalu´s neuester Eroberung. Sie werden gefüttert, sie gewinnen Vertrauen. Ihr Besitzer ernährt sie mit altem Brot und Milch – wohl kaum, was kleine Hunde brauchen. Ich freue mich über den Zuwachs an vierbeinigen Freunden, die morgens mit steil aufgestellten Schwänzen neben uns herwackeln und Kalu und mich auf dem Spaziergang begleiten. Und ich glaube, Kalu auch.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaah sind die niedlich! Aslo ehrlich gesagt bin ich froh, daß ich nicht an Deiner Stelle bin. Denn diese ganzen niedlichen, armen Hunde um mich herum zu haben, würde mich in arge Gewissenskonflikte bringen und mir möglicherweise das Herz brechen.
Das mit den Ohren ist ja wirklich lustig; auf den ersten hat die Szene was von einer Fotomontage: zwei Mal der gleiche Hund mit unterschiedlichen Ohrenstellungen.

ich steh auf Knickohren! Du hast Recht: Ist schon merkwürdig, dass mir immer wieder so niedliche kleine Hunde über den Weg laufen, ohne dass ich etwas dazu tue: Sie sind einfach da.
Aber Tom: Um Dich zu beruhigen: Die Beiden sind nur Tagesgäste. Nachts geht es, husch, wieder ab auf die Baustelle.
@Steffi: Das ist ja gerade: Man kann hier wunderbar Hunde durchfüttern, die nicht die eigenen sind. Und das muss man auch. Denn es ist unmöglich, alle niedlichen Köter selbst zu nehmen, es sei denn, man hat im Leben nichts anderes zu tun, oder man heißt Brigitte Bardot. Nein, nein, die Beiden werden NICHT unsere Hunde, aber ich kann mich um sie kümmern, solange ich hier wohne. Und das ist immerhin auch schon etwas. Sonst drehst Du hier durch. Oder möchtest Du Dein Leben nur noch auf Hunde ausrichten?
Ich gebe zu, das ist einen Gedanken Wert, aber letztlich nicht praktikabel: Wo fängst Du an? Wo hörst Du auf?

Eben dieses Problem ist mir bewusst und genau das treibt mich schon beim Aufsuchen diverser Internetseiten oder Hundeforen oder dem Lesen von Tierschutzthemen halb in den Wahnsinn. Genau das meinte ich mit “Gewissenskonflikten”.
Ich finde es respektierenswert, wie Du einen für Euch praktikablen Mittelweg gefunden hast.
